Abstract

The digital revolution is changing not just the nature of work but what might be available for humans to do. This seminar presents a synthesis of the evolving controversies and the terms of the debate surrounding AI and the future of work.

Biography

Abay Mulatu is an Associate Professor of Economics at CFCI. His main research areas include international trade and development, and trade and the environment. In the past, he has worked on the topic of ‘the effects of large-scale technological changes - including the steam engine, electricity, and ICT’.
