Lyra: Film Screening

As part of events in Coventry to mark the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, RISING has joined with Coventry Cathedral to organise a showing of the 2022 film ‘Lyra’ about the life and tragic death of the Northern Ireland journalist, poet and rights campaigner Lyra Mckee.

After the 90 minute film there will be a 45 minute panel Q&A with the film’s producer and Lyra Mckee’s sister Nichola. The event is free but there will be a retiring collection for the Lyra Mckee Journalism Bursary Fund.
