Event details

In this seminar, Prof Bratianu will discuss the importance of knowledge-driven business strategies.

The purpose of this seminar is to discuss how the perception of time and the future influences the designing of knowledge-based business strategies.

Knowledge-based strategies are discussed in terms of the dynamics between what is known and what is unknown to a certain business at a point in time.

The discussions will focus on the link between business strategies and knowledge strategies (i.e. strategies for the exploitation, acquisition, sharing and creation of knowledge).

Constantin Bratianu is Professor Emeritus of Strategic Management and Knowledge Management at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. He is the former Head of the UNESCO Department for Business Administration, and the founding editor of the international journals Management & Marketing, and Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy.

He is Associate Editor of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management.  He published over 25 books and over 200 papers in international journals.
