The Centre for Postdigital Cultures welcomes Kelly Gallagher, award-winning experimental animator and Assistant Professor of Film at Syracuse University.

Film, Creativity, Resistance gathers a selection of Gallagher’s films exploring overlooked histories and movements of resistance and perseverance. The film programme complements the CPC Pirate Care conference offering a powerful visual imagery that will expand on the topic with a focus on Gallagher’s unique handcrafted films and aesthetics/politics of care.

The artist will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening.
