Coventry University students took on a celebrity twist to help kick cancer in the face by raising vital funds for Breast Cancer Care.

Postgraduate marketing students took on the campaign in the Student’s Union this month where equipped with pink bras, boob shaped cakes and some competition they raised £150 for the UK charity.

To add a twist to the usual games and sweet treat sales, students were encouraged to pay up to kick posters of celebrities, Donald Trump, Katie Hopkins, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Kanye West with help from Jujitsu expert, Dil Shemare.

Social media addicts also paid up to wear a pink bra for a #PledgeForPink selfie, and others got guessing in a fundraising ‘how many sweets in the jar’ game thanks to help from The Treat Kitchen.

All funds raised in the campaign will go to Breast Cancer Care UK to help provide care and support for women and their families affected by the illness.
