Dutch Integrate Police Training Mission in Afghanistan

During January to February 2013, Dr. Chuck Thiessen and Laura Payne completed an assessment report of the Dutch-led police training activities and justice support work in Kunduz province in northern Afghanistan. The assessment incorporated a large survey of households, police personnel, police management, new police recruits, prisoners, court officials, and community leaders.
The assessment was conducted together with Cooperation for Peace and Unity (CPAU), a peacebuilding NGO in Kabul, and was funded by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Kabul. The report has been published on CPAU’s website.
