Recent BA Photography graduate Aleksandra Zagozda has secured a studio assistant role with to acclaimed fashion photographer Chadwick Tyler in New York.

Aleksandra had been interested in Tyler’s work for much of her time at Coventry University and had ambitions to work with him once she finished studying.

Jonathan Shaw, associate head of the Department of Media, said:

"We're delighted that Alexandra has realised her plans so soon after graduating. Our photography course is all about engaging with industry, and we actively encourage and help our students to make contacts in the sector while they are studying so that they have the best chance of securing work when they graduate."

The layout of Aleksandra’s previous exhibition ‘Visual Victims’ was inspired by Tyler’s ‘Tiberius’ exhibition at the Honey Space Gallery in New York. You can hear Aleksandra talk about this, and other aspects of her project, in the video shown here.
