Coventry University has confirmed its strong performance in the areas of teaching quality, student experience and graduate prospects in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020, published this weekend.

The guide, published in full on Sunday, features the university in the top five across all three categories in the West Midlands, and 50th overall in the UK.

The latest rankings come just a couple of weeks after Coventry's first ever five star overall rating by the QS Stars awards system - confirming the breadth of its excellence across teaching, research and other key indicators. The university’s increased focus on research and its achievements in this category prompted QS to award Coventry University’s research four stars.

I’m delighted by the recognition that our commitment to improve and deliver exceptional results for our students has received from both the Times and QS rankings this September. Our teaching is recognised as excellent, and our commitment and passion to provide outstanding opportunities to students, some from the most disadvantaged areas in the UK, is without question.
