Coventry University Group is planning to massively expand its number of online students through a strategic partnership with a leader in the digital teaching market.

Coventry University Online has been a qualified success for a number of years, with its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) provision ranked the best in the world, alongside a range of quality online degree courses.

The Group is now aiming to scale up the fee-paying side of the platform and has entered an agreement with Cintana Education, which has a track record of accelerated growth in online education. The project will broaden the Group’s online education offerings with ambitious targets to bring inclusive and engaging learning experiences to students worldwide.

This strategic move promises to deliver growth and continued diversification in what is a tough environment for the sector.

A dedicated unit for marketing, recruitment and student engagement will be based at the Group’s Milton Keynes office which is hoped will boost online student numbers while making sure learning materials reflect diverse cultures and global views.

We are opening new doors for students around the world, creating meaningful opportunities for them to access and thrive in education - which is a right, not a privilege.

As a Group, we have earned a reputation for teaching excellence, reflected in our consecutive TEF Gold rankings. Our philosophy is, and always will be, to keep the student experience at the heart of everything we do.

This initiative isn’t just about growth - it’s about shaping a future with our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive education.
