Our advice for getting here, where to check in and what you can expect from the day.

Getting here

Public Transport Incentive Scheme: We encourage those attending our events to use public transport where possible and offer financial support.

  • £20 within Coventry & Warwickshire (CV postcodes)
  • £35 within West/East Midlands
  • £65 from outside the Midlands

You can claim on the day if you have travelled to one of our events by bus, coach, train, tram or bicycle.

Event parking

Saturday events: Free parking is available in the Coventry University Multistorey Car Park, Gosford Street, CV1 5DL.

Event schedule

Saturday events: Please be ready to check in at your building at 10 am. We recommend that you aim to arrive on campus 15 minutes before check-in begins. Your Course Session & Activity will run until approximately 12:30 pm. After this you will have the opportunity to attend the Student Experience Fair. The fair closes at 3 pm.

Where to check in

  • You should check in at a designated teaching building on the Coventry University campus.
  • Your digital ticket will confirm the designated teaching building name for your course session & activity, along with the building address and postcode. Keep it handy on your phone – save your event ticket to your phone's digital wallet.
  • Or you can use the tool below to find the designated teaching building where you will need to check in.

What to expect on the day

Course session and activity

Meet the academics and teams who’ll be teaching you. Tour teaching and learning spaces and ask detailed questions about topics such as modules, placements and assessment.

Student experience fair

You will have time during the event to speak with our expert teams and ask any questions that you have. Our teams that will be present at the fair are:

  • Success coaches - Learn how we support your academic journey with personalised plans and one-to-one coaching from day one.
  • Careers team - Discover how we help you build employability skills, gain work experience, and access professional placements.
  • Student wellbeing - Find out how we support students with additional needs and promote wellbeing across campus.
  • Fees and funding - Get expert advice on tuition fees, maintenance loans, and applying for student finance.
  • Admissions team - Whether you're applying through UCAS or directly, we’ll guide you through the application process.
  • Customer Services - Learn how we guide you through university processes, connect you with the right people, and help you access the services you need.
  • Phoenix+ - Discover how we identify key focus areas for your personal development and create a success plan to guide your learning journey.
  • Protection services - Find out how we help you stay safe on campus and in university accommodation, including using the SafeZone app to report concerns or call for help.
  • Student accommodation - Explore your options for living in halls of residence or privately-owned housing, and chat with our team to find the right place for you.
  • Your Students’ Union - Enhance your student experience with activities, education support, skills development, campaigns, advice services, and wellbeing resources from day one to graduation.

Tours and chats with current students

Student-led campus tours, accommodation tours and informal conversations with current students will be running throughout each event. Our current students taking part in the event will be dressed in blue polo shirts and fleeces.
