If you’re a UK home-fee paying student, applying to Coventry University for the first time and attend one of our Applicant Experience Days in February, March or April 2026, you could be eligible for a £250 pre-paid virtual card if you go on to successfully enrol with us in September 2026.
It’s our way of supporting you after you have started your enrolment. Whether you put it towards your first food shop or some uni essentials, it’s yours to spend how you like.
Here’s how it works:

Attend one of our Applicant Experience Days
Applicant Experience Days take place on 7 February, 7 March and 25 April 2026.

We’ll send you an email with a form to complete
From July 2026 onwards, once you meet the conditions of your offer, we’ll send you an email with a form to complete to register details for your virtual card. This must be completed before 30 September 2026.

Enrol for September 2026 intake
After you have successfully enrolled, you’ll receive an email from our trusted third-party partner.

Gain access to your virtual card
Follow the steps in the email to gain access to your virtual card via an app. The virtual card can be added to Apple Pay or Google Wallet.
The £250 balance will typically be loaded within 48 hours of card activation.

Spend your virtual card
Spend it online or in-store, anywhere that accepts Visa, both on and off campus
We know not everyone can attend an Applicant Experience Day in person. If you’re unable to attend because of health, caring responsibilities, religious commitments or similar reasons, please complete this form and the University will consider an alternative route to eligibility, where appropriate

Terms and conditions
- The deadline for submission of the form is 30 September 2026.
- Students who claim this offer are not entitled to any other University enrolment offer, including our £100 boost scheme.
- The scheme is only available for UK home fee paying students on full-time undergraduate degrees enrolling for the first time in September 2026 and will be applied after enrolment.
- The scheme is only available for attendees of one of our Applicant Experience Days in 7 February, 7 March or 25 April 2026, and to Applicants unable to attend because of health, caring responsibilities, religious commitments or similar reasons and who are approved for an alternative route of eligibility.
- The scheme is not open to Coventry University London, CU Coventry, CU Scarborough and CU London (Dagenham and Greenwich), Coventry University Wrocław, Coventry University Online or Coventry University Apprenticeship students.
- The scheme will be awarded at the entire discretion of Coventry University.
- The University reserves the right to amend or withdraw the scheme at any time.
- The University's decision on the interpretation of eligibility criteria is final and there is no right of appeal.
- The University reserves the right to withdraw the scheme from anyone who is found to have misled the University about any aspect of their eligibility and to seek repayment of any monies already paid by appropriate means.
- There is no right of appeal against the University's decision in relation to your eligibility for the scheme. You may make a complaint if you believe that you have not been considered for the discount because of a procedural error.
