Top tips for your Open Day

We've put together some top tips to help you plan ahead of the event.

  1. You may want to bring with you a family member, guardian, or friend for support; it's always good to get a second opinion.
  2. Make a list of any key facilities you'd like to see during the Open Day - you can view our virtual tour before your visit to get an idea of some facilities to add to your list.
  3. You may want to attend more than one course exploration session if you’re still deciding which subject to study. These sessions will give you an opportunity to talk to our academics and tutors, current students and see our teaching facilities.
  4. Prepare some questions! Open Days are a great opportunity to quiz university staff and students – our student ambassadors are all current students, and they will be able to answer questions about student life and accommodation options. Make a list beforehand to ensure you don’t forget to ask any important questions. The event information desk in The Hub can provide any extra information you need on the day.
  5. Enjoy a free lunch - Redeem you and your guests' lunch vouchers and check out our student catering provision at the same time.
  6. Follow us on social media and share your experience.
  7. Finally, have fun and enjoy your visit!

We can't wait to meet you at our Open Day.
