What is Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)?

Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a fantastic way we, at Coventry University, collaborate with international universities and professional institutions. Included within our curriculum, and offered through Phoenix+, these opportunities provide you with valuable experience working with others from different cultures and countries, helping to develop your digital skills and your intercultural competence.

COIL Projects can take place in real-time with students from other countries, enabling collaborative work on focused activities. Alternatively, projects may run asynchronously, allowing students to work together at different times and across time zones that do not overlap.
