School of Health and Care course interview guides

Congratulations on being invited to interview with Coventry University Group. You’ve taken a big step towards joining one of our health and care courses.

Things to think about before your interview

Here are a few themes you might want to reflect on:

  • Why have you chosen this course and career path?
  • How do you handle challenges or stressful situations?
  • What do you know about current issues in healthcare and society?
  • What skills, strengths or values make you a good fit for this profession?

Remember, there are no trick questions! We just want to understand your genuine interest and how you think.

Top tip: the interview isn’t meant to be intimidating. Take a deep breath, be yourself, and treat it as a conversation about your goals and passions.

If you receive a conditional offer after your interview, congratulations! Make sure to read the offer carefully and respond as soon as you can. Some courses may also need DBS and health checks before you can enrol.

If you have any questions, our Customer Onboarding Team is here to help.
