Dancing Bodies in Coventry is a Coventry City of Culture 2021 funded project that is being led by researchers from Coventry University’s Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE).

Detection of very early cancerous changes has the capacity to save many lives and reduce the burden of disease for cancer patients and treatment costs for healthcare systems. This is the vision of the Early Cancer Detection Consortium. Building on recent technological developments, we aim to develop a blood-based screening test for multiple tumour types so that most cancer patients can be cured without experiencing any of the symptoms of cancer or the side effects of treatment.
