Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes

AI Apprenticeships

Our AI apprenticeships, delivered through our apprenticeship provider Better Futures Apprenticeships, develop practical AI skills across technical and leadership roles.

Programmes include the Level 4 AI and Automation Practitioner apprenticeship, covering generative AI, data processing and workplace automation, alongside two Level 5 AI Leadership apprenticeships focused on identifying strategic AI opportunities and leading responsible effective AI-enabled organisational transformation.

Overview: An executive programme helping leaders understand data as a strategic asset, assess potential AI applications and lead responsible adoption. Through expert input, practical exploration, organisational use cases and collaborative discussion, participants develop the confidence to identify opportunities and guide effective AI-enabled innovation. Delivery can be online, in person or hybrid and is arranged in response to client demand.

Duration: Part of 12-hour self-paced suite

Overview: An introductory, self-paced online series covering any of the three areas below:

AI and Society explores the societal, legal and ethical implications of AI and helps participants engage with it confidently and responsibly.
AI and Industry considers workplace and sector applications, helping participants identify opportunities and understand the implications of adopting AI.
AI Technologies introduces how AI technologies work, their capabilities and limitations, and the practical considerations involved in their use.

AI in Education Community of Practice

We have an entire AI in Education Community of Practice supporting communities at home and abroad, providing a forum for professional development, sharing good practice and exploring the evolving role of AI in education.

Launched during World AI Week 2025, the Community of Practice builds on our work in AI in assessment, informs future curricula and helps us stay aligned with how AI technology is evolving and being adopted by students and employers.
