Coventry University Kazakhstan is rapidly expanding after gaining government approval to offer 200 new life-changing scholarships.

There has been huge interest in the scholarships, which are for courses in Business and Computer Science, with more than 760 people submitting applications.

Coventry University is the first British university to establish a campus in Astana and those who graduate receive the same accredited qualification as their counterparts studying in the UK.

The university is currently assessing the merit-based scholarship applications and although the level of competition is high, applicants who are not awarded a scholarship will still be able to apply for courses on a tuition fee basis, provided they meet the admissions criteria.

We are proud that Coventry University Kazakhstan has been the clear choice for many strong and ambitious graduates, despite offers from other top international universities.

We are grateful to the Government of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and especially Minister Sayasat Nurbek for supporting talented students in gaining access to high-quality British education here in Kazakhstan.

Miras Daulenov, President of Coventry University Kazakhstan

Coventry University Kazakhstan has ambitious plans to increase its provision in the country, aiming to eventually be home to around 3,500 students.

It currently offers undergraduate courses in Business, Computer Science, International Relations, and Economics and Finance, as well as postgraduate courses in MBA Global Business and MBA Executive.

There are also future plans to offer new courses in Art and Design, Construction Management, and other in-demand disciplines.

We’re really excited to be offering these scholarships at Coventry University Kazakhstan, providing amazing opportunities for talented people to gain UK accredited qualifications.

The huge demand we have seen for these places shows the value people across the world see in Coventry University qualifications and their value in helping them achieve their professional and personal goals.
