Coventry University Group has been ranked as the fourth best university in the UK in the 2025 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES).
The university group claimed fourth spot for overall student satisfaction – moving up from eighth in 2024 – in the latest results released by Advance HE which mean the institution has been named in the top 10 for a fourth consecutive year.
The overall satisfaction rate also increased from 91% in 2024 to 93% in 2025, while satisfaction from postgraduate students in every theme of the survey either increased or remained the same.
The survey covers Coventry University’s city centre campus and Coventry University London, with the Group now ranked in the top six for all themes out of 102 higher education institutions, including:
The successes didn’t end there, with the Group being ranked in the top quarter in eight subject rankings including topping the table for biological and sport sciences, and design and creative and performing arts.
Students also ranked Coventry University Group as: second for architecture, building and planning; fifth for business and management; eighth for computing; ninth for subjects allied to medicine; and 12th for both psychology and social sciences.
We pride ourselves on creating an environment where students at all levels can not only flourish academically but also feel part of the university community. The PTES results show that the determined efforts of colleagues are making a real difference to students’ lives day in, day out.
However, never one to rest on our laurels, we will continue to work hard towards creating better futures.
