Coventry University Group has moved into the top 200 universities in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025.

Of the 685 participating institutions, Coventry University Group is now ranked 190th overall and the group’s ranking in the sustainability category has also risen significantly this year, jumping an impressive 90 places to 118th of all universities in Europe.

Coventry University Group is extremely proud of its International Student Diversity, and has secured 17th spot in Europe in this category. This prestigious ranking underscores the university group's immense appeal to students from around the globe, with a wide variety of nationalities represented across its campuses in Coventry, London, and Scarborough.

Its vibrant international community highlights Coventry University's commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive educational environment.

The group, which includes Coventry University, Coventry University London and CU campuses across the UK has a range of support on offer to all students, including those from overseas.

These results show our incredible work in the pursuit of excellence and I would like to congratulate our staff for their efforts in achieving this ranking.

It is particularly pleasing to see the strides we are making in the area of sustainability recognised by QS and significant investment in areas such as solar technology within our estate demonstrate we are committed to reaching our target of being net zero by 2030.

Our international student diversity is something we are incredibly proud of and our global approach in building positive relationships with organisations across the world through our network of global hubs is something we will continue to focus on.

Professor John Latham CBE, Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Coventry University Group

Coventry University’s international success has previously been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade, while last year it was awarded a prestigious Gold Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) rating in recognition of its “outstanding student experience and student outcomes”.
