Why uni works for a lot of people

Career goals: some careers – like architecture, nursing or law – require you to have a relevant degree.

But it’s not for everyone - and that’s OK

Other paths might fit you better: an apprenticeship, work experience, gap year or online learning could also lead to a great career.
The cost is real: rent and living costs can add up. Student loans are there to cover your tuition fees, but uni can seem like a big financial commitment.
Learning style matters: if you prefer hands-on, practical work, the teaching style of some universities might not suit you.
