A: After comparing costs, facilities, and course rankings, Coventry was the most reasonable choice.
Academic Experience
Q: Could you share your academic experiences at Coventry University and compare them with your education in Korea?
A: Since I left Korea in middle school and attended an international school, it’s hard to make a direct comparison. However, I find that tutors at Coventry respect students' opinions and encourage individual thinking. I also appreciate the practical classes, which go beyond just theoretical knowledge.
Q: What has been your favorite class or project and why?
A: I love the workshop classes the most. Being able to handle high-end equipment used in the industry is extremely beneficial.
The Culture

A: The accent and fast-paced speech, along with the slang and idioms used by students, were challenging at first. However, I got used to it over time. The cost of eating out was surprising, but cooking at home allowed me to bond with my flatmates, which was great
Q: What tips would you give to Korean students for overcoming language barriers?
A: I recommend getting involved in any activities. Making plans with dorm or course friends and watching British movies, dramas, or YouTubers to learn real-life English are helpful. Remember, everyone is the same, and the differences are just in culture and language.

Q: What student societies or clubs are you involved in? How have they enriched your university experience?
A: I couldn’t participate consistently due to part-time work, but I attended musical and Christian societies a few times. It was great to meet people with similar interests and speak English in a comfortable setting.
