Shape Coventry

Inspiring Creative Futures in the City

A city-wide programme creating opportunities for children, young people and creatives to develop skills, build careers and shape the future of Coventry's creative sector.

Supported by National Lottery funding through Arts Council England's Place Partnership Fund, Shape Coventry brings together partners from across education, culture, local government and the creative industries to create new pathways into creativity, culture and employment.

The programme will:

  • Create new pathways into creative careers.
  • Support children and young people to develop creative skills and leadership opportunities.
  • Connect artists and creative professionals with training, paid opportunities and business support.
  • Strengthen links between culture, education, technology and industry.
  • Help retain creative talent and grow Coventry's creative economy.

Activities will take place across Coventry, including at schools, community venues, cultural organisations, the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum and Coventry University's Delia Derbyshire Building.
