Flexible Payment Schemes (UK/EU)

The University has flexible payment schemes to help you spread the cost of your course fees. This applies to postgraduate UK and EU full-time and part-time students only.

  • Full Payment Scheme;
  • Two Instalment Scheme;
  • Eight Instalment Scheme.


Full Payment Scheme

If you are full time and you make full payment of your annual tuition fee at enrolment* then we will either deduct 5% from the amount of tuition fees due to be paid or provide a 5% refund of the tuition fees if they have already been paid. We accept payment by debit card or credit card.

*For September/October starters the discount deadline is 17 October 2016.

Two Instalment Scheme

Under this scheme you pay 50% of your annual tuition fee at enrolment and the final 50% in December. We charge no arrangement fee or interest for this facility providing the payments are made on time. You can pay by debit card or credit card.


Eight Instalment Scheme

This scheme spreads your annual tuition fee over the academic year. We take a variable deposit at enrolment (see table below). This is then followed by eight equal monthly instalments payable by direct debit or recurring debit card or credit card transactions starting in October and ending in May. The eight monthly payments work out as:

Is there any support for part-time students?

Providing you are studying at least 25% of the full-time equivalent course per year, you can use our Flexible Payment Schemes in the same way as a full-time student. If you are enrolled for less than 25% of the full-time equivalent course per year then you must pay for the modules each year in full, before enrolment.
