Project overview

The ‘Air-One’ project is funded by Innovate UK under the Future Flight Programme. Within the Air-One project we will implement the first UKs first ‘pop up’ airport and charging hub for future electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft – such as air taxis and autonomous delivery drones – that will transport people and cargo across cities in the coming years. The Air-One programme will accelerate both public readiness for this new technology & the decarbonisation of our country by promoting an exciting, green alternative for urban mobility.
