Where can I live?

We offer a guaranteed place in either university-owned or privately owned accommodation for all Coventry University and CU Coventry applicants accepted through UCAS Clearing.

Facilities vary by residence, but most of our accommodation include internet access, shared kitchen facilities, communal social spaces, laundry facilities and maintenance support. Visit our moving in guide to know what’s provided and what to bring.

Room allocations are not usually based on course, and students are typically placed with a mix of residents from different courses and backgrounds.

A limited number of single-sex flats may be available. You can indicate your preference during the application process, but please note that allocation is subject to availability.

Students living in university-managed accommodation can access wellbeing and student support services throughout their studies. Additional support may be available depending on individual circumstances.

University-owned accommodation includes security measures such as CCTV, controlled access points and support from the Protection Service. Security arrangements may vary between accommodation providers and locations.
