Language Centre

The Languages Centre is a state-of-the-art language learning facility that brings together learners, teachers and technical staff in a specially designed suite.

We have a truly international focus; the Languages Centre is designed to support the multiple needs of learners from any language course that the university may provide. These range from short intensive courses, aimed at providing basic knowledge, to full-time degree programmes that may contain one or more languages as a major, joint or minor subject.

We are members of both the Association of University Language Centres and the European Confederation of Languages in Higher Education.

While the largest group of language learners are studying English, you are just as likely to meet people studying: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Japanese or Chinese.
