Academic integrity means being honest, fair and responsible in your studies. You must complete all academic work independently and truthfully and follow the rules for referencing using sources.
Postgraduate degree modular framework
All of our postgraduate degrees are built from modules. These are units of study with set credit values.
Progression, award boards and results
After each assessment period your results will be considered by a Progression and Awards Board (PAB). These boards consider the results of each student on a course and makes decisions about continuation, progression and awards.
Coursework includes any assessed work outside the main exam periods. This covers essays, dissertations, projects, presentations, artefacts, lab or studio tasks, and phase tests organised by your course.

We aim to create a positive and respectful community. If you have concerns, there are informal and formal ways to raise them
Misconduct and disciplinary action
If you are unwell and it’s affecting your ability to study or attend an exam, see your doctor and get official evidence (e.g. medical certificate, doctor’s note etc.). This is a requirement of the procedures. Online-only medical notes (e.g. from Push Doctor) aren’t accept medical evidence.
