Welcome events

We hope you are excited to start university with us this year. After a year of living through a global pandemic it can be daunting, even for second and third years returning to campus. That’s why we’ve put together a few weeks of welcome events designed to help all undergraduate and postgraduate students settle in (or back in) to university life.

We’ve timetabled lots of social events including mini-golf and bingo (with a twist) to help you meet other students. If sport is your thing, we have taster sessions and challenges for you to get stuck in to. If you’re more of an animal person, we’ve arranged a visit from some furry friends to help you feel at home.

Our friendly and approachable staff will be on hand to answer your questions or queries. We have several customer experience desks set up around campus.

Plus, did you know that Coventry is City of Culture 2021? The city is hosting lots of events including theatre shows, circuses, comedy shows, art installations and much more. You won’t be stuck for things to do with your new friends.
