Making the most of your Open Day

Visiting us for an Open Day? To get an idea of what you can see and do, check out the Open Day visitor guide and campus map.

To help you get the most out of your day, we’ve put together some top tips to help you prepare ahead of the event.

  • Once you are near Coventry city centre, AA signs will guide you to the university area. You can park for free if you use the university multi-storey car park on Gosford Street (CV1 5DL) or the Technology Park car park on Puma Way (CV1 2TT).

Travelling by train? We will have a shuttle bus service operating between the station and the university. This service will leave from the Transport Interchange on the Warwick Road side of the new station building. On leaving the train please exit via the new station building and follow signs to Buses.

  • All visitors must check in with us - our students will be around campus to guide you to event check in, which takes place in Square One (part of The Hub).

  • We have campus tours, an Information Fair, accommodation tours and some central presentations – you can find all of these in and around TheHub students’ building.

  • We have a full range of course sessions taking place in our teaching buildings.

Please check the Visitor Guide for a full course listing with timings and locations.

  • When you’re ready for a drink or some lunch, we have numerous catering outlets on campus. The event wristband we give to all visitors at check in means lunch is on us between 11:30am and 2pm at most of the outlets.

If you feel like extending your visit, we are based very close to the city centre with its shops, restaurants and tourist attractions all nearby.
