Making the most of your Open Day
Visiting us for an Open Day? To get an idea of what you can see and do, check out the Open Day visitor guide and campus map.
To help you get the most out of your day, we’ve put together some top tips to help you prepare ahead of the event.
1
Travel
Once you are near Coventry city centre, AA signs will guide you to the university area. You can park for free if you use the multi-storey car park on Gosford Street (CV1 5DL).
Travelling by train? Look out for our ambassadors at the railway station, they will be close to the ticket office in the original building and will show you to our free shuttle bus to the university.
2
On arrival
All visitors must check in with us - our students will be around campus to guide you to event check in, which takes place in Square One (part of The Hub).
3
What's going on?
We have campus tours, an Information Fair, accommodation tours and some central presentations – you can find all of these in and around TheHub students’ building.
4
Course information
We have a full range of course sessions taking place in our faculty buildings.
Please check the Visitor Guide for a full course listing with timings and locations.
5
Food and drink
When you’re ready for a drink or some lunch, we have numerous catering outlets on campus. The event wristband we give to all visitors at check in means lunch is on us between 11:30am and 2:30pm at most of the outlets. If you feel like extending your visit, we are based very close to the city centre with its shops, restaurants and tourist attractions all nearby.
