When submitting an application for a postgraduate course as a minimum you will need to provide:
You will need to check the course page for any additional requirements such as minimum degree achievement, additional references, English or Maths proficiency, or a portfolio of work for art and design based courses.
Your application should be supported by a reference. This can be professional or academic. Any references must be on official headed paper or from a professional email address. It must be signed and recently dated.
For some courses, such as those in Health and Nursing, we will need both a professional and academic reference. Please check the course page for further information.
All of our courses require minimum English language proficiency. We look for GCSE Grade 4 or above (Grade C or above if achieved prior to 2017) or equivalent qualifications. If you are unsure if your English qualification is equivalent to GCSE level then please get in touch.
For international students we ask for IELTS overall score of 6.5 or equivalent.
A limited number of courses also require evidence of GCSE Maths at Grade 4 or above (Grade C or above if achieved prior to 2017) or equivalent qualifications. This will be indicated in the Entry Requirements section of the relevant course details.
Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, some with significant relevant work experience, as opposed to traditional academic entry requirements. If you do not have a degree and are applying with work experience please submit a detailed CV with your application.
