Welcome back to Coventry University, your results notification will have detailed your progression so you’ll now need to re-enrol with us before starting the next stage of your course.

January 2026 intake - Teaching starts on Monday 19 January 2026. Enrolment closes on Monday 16 February 2026.
March 2026 intake -Teaching starts on Monday 9 March 2026. Enrolment closes on Monday 30 March 2026.

You can check your results notification in SOLAR and progress your re-enrolment from there.

Here’s a quick guide on what to do.

Payment for fees must have reached our accounts by the enrolment deadline. Students are therefore advised to make payments no later than 10 working days before the enrolment deadline to ensure funds are received on time. Funds received after the deadline will mean you are not eligible to re-enrol.

Re-enrol online

UK fee-paying undergraduate, postgraduate taught students and post graduate researchers must re-enrol for your next course stage using SOLAR.

International students may need to complete an RTS (Right to Study) check before you can re-enrol. Check your University email account and the information in section 3 for information.

Ensure your tuition fees are up to date, whether that means paying your deposit or clearing any overdue fees. Contact our Customer Services Team or Finance Team for support.

Home returning students

Home students applying for a student loan must do so every year. You can find all the details on the UK Government website.

If your fees are being paid by a sponsor (e.g. an employer or government body) you will need to send your sponsor letter for approval to debtenq.fin@coventry.ac.uk. We require a new sponsor letter each academic year. Please note, family and friends are not classed as sponsors.

International returning students

For international fee payers, you are required to have paid a minimum of £8,000 or the full course fee if studying part-time.

If you haven’t paid your tuition fees in full, please ensure you make payments by the tuition instalment deadlines.

Returning international students:

As a returning student, you must pay an £8,000 returners deposit and either pay your tuition fees in full or be defaulted into the appropriate payment plan as detailed in tuition fee and refund terms and conditions. Please allow at least 10 working days for your payment to be received as international payments can take longer to be processed. To avoid delays, make your payment well in advance of your enrolment deadline so the funds clear on time, as late payments will prevent you from enrolling and may impact your visa status.

International part-time students must pay your course fees in full. You can check the cost on our Returner Fees portal.

The quickest and most secure way to pay is by using Convera payment platform.

As a home and international student, you will need to pay your tuition fees in line with our Tuition Fee Terms and Conditions.

Complete your Right to Study (RTS) check - January 2026 start date

In order to complete your RTS check please see the details below, you will need to come in person to the Student Centre.

Dates: Monday 5 January to Monday 16 February 2026
Opening times: Monday - Friday, 9am - 3.30pm (excluding weekends)

Students are expected to be in the UK and have completed their Right to Study by Monday 19 January 2025.

Get your student status letter

There may be times when you need to prove your status as a student, eg opening a bank account - you can generate a student status letter by logging into the Student Portal or via the Wayfinder app.
