Interview Preparation - What to expect

Interview Preparation - What to expect

If your application is shortlisted, you might be invited to attend the University to undertake an interview, depending on the course you’re applying for.

We hold interviews as they give us the opportunity to meet you and discuss why you want to study this course with us. We want to make sure that the course is suitable for you and we’re matching up with your career ambitions.

But it’s also a chance for you to ask any questions that you might have about the course and your aspirations!

What to bring

If you’re invited to interview, please bring your full Record of Achievement, as well as any other specified work such as a portfolio or work experience evidence.

Your interviewer will most likely want to discuss these with you, so be prepared for any questions.

After the interview

If you’re considered suitable for the course, you will receive an offer of a place. The type of offer you receive will determine how you should respond.

The conditions of your offer will vary between courses and unsuccessful candidates will also be informed at this stage.
