Coventry University is delighted to be hosting the Women's Engineering Society (WES) regional networking event in Coventry.
This evening will convene local employers, universities, institutions and professional bodies to help connect talent to opportunities and opportunities to talent with a focus on the needs of the West Midlands region.
The West Midlands is home to a diverse and highly skilled engineering economy, spanning manufacturing, automotive, energy, digital technologies and research. Strengthening networks, visibility, opportunities and pathways for women to progress in the field of engineering is essential - and this event is designed to support exactly that.
You’ll hear what’s on offer from WES in terms of career support, community and professional development, alongside a curated overview of opportunities for women at mid‑ to senior‑career stages.
The evening will close with a networking reception, giving attendees the chance to meet peers, employers, fellow WES members and to build connections across the West Midlands engineering community.
This event forms part of WES' mission to build inclusive engineering cultures and deepen regional networks.
