Are you a young actor in Coventry? Want to learn a new performance skill?

Then you may be interested in what we have to say!

We are looking for 5-6 actors to play young people aged 18-25 of varying genders and ethnicities in a Public Performance Event held at the Performance Studio, ICC Building, Coventry University Technology Park, CV1 on Wednesday 22 March at 4:30pm.

The show will be created from interviews using headphone verbatim, a form of theatre that uses headphones in performance, whereby actors imitate participants voices. No experience is necessary, as we will be teaching you this performance skill in rehearsal.

Key Dates

  • Audition Workshop: Thursday 9 March at 5:30pm (you must be able to attend this to be cast)
  • Rehearsals: Monday 20 March - Wednesday 22 March daytime (you may not be called throughout this entire time)
  • Tech and Dress: Wednesday 22 March at 2pm – 4pm.
  • Performance Event: Wednesday 22 March at 4:30pm.
  • Pay & Expenses: The pay for this work will be £200, inclusive of travel expenses to and from the rehearsal and event space.  


This role is specifically targeted at young, emerging actors and students.
