The Future of Terrorism and Terrorism Research

The Society for Terrorism Research (STR) and CTPSR are delighted to announce that the 14th annual international STR conference will be held at Coventry University, 8–9 September 2022.

In addition to showcasing new research on terrorism, the goal of this conference will be to consider what the future of terrorism and, indeed, terrorism research might look like by 2030.

The conference will seek to stimulate discussion around fundamental questions, including:

• How do we build meaningful and sustainable relationships between the research, policy and practice communities?
• How do we maximise impact from the research that is undertaken?
• How do we enhance innovation in terrorism research and harness expertise in other disciplines as well as researchers that may not have considered themselves to have a role in terrorism studies?
• How do we achieve this while continuing to address contemporary terrorism-related issues?
