Advanced recording studio launched to help music students refine their skills

A cutting-edge recording studio will help students studying in Italy to fulfil their musical ambitions and obtain a Coventry University degree.
The Creative Hub has opened at the Music Academy in Bologna, an organisation which awards Coventry University degrees in Italy.
Coventry University offers both undergraduate and post-graduate courses in collaboration with Music Academy.
The new studio is filled with advanced equipment designed to meet the needs of professionals in the fields of film and audiovisual production, sound design and music recording.
The SSL bench at the studio is a mix of digital and analogue, while the space also features a recording room and an auditorium of rehearsal rooms.
At around 55 square metres, the studio is spacious enough to enable a comfortable teaching environment.
The aim of providing such equipment is to help students be as prepared as possible for employment within the creative industries.
Coventry University has been working with Music Academy since October 2022, with its first cohort of students graduating in November 2023.
Courses offered include Composition, Urban Music Production, Popular Music Performance and Songwriting and Applied Contemporary Music (Music Production and Sound Design).

The investment in cutting edge equipment at the Music Academy studio will enable students to develop their skills and will better prepare them to seek employment within the creative industries when they graduate.
