Coventry University has seen a number of its subjects named in the top 10 institutions in the UK in the Guardian University Guide 2024.

The university’s Mental Health Nursing course topped the rankings for a second year running, while 10 other subjects retained or gained top 10 status.

Overall, Coventry University achieved a ranking of 46th in the 2024 guide, which covers all of the university’s UK entities, moving up five places from last year’s ranking of 51st.

There was also a jump from 19th to eighth for the university’s ranking across all institutions for Value Added Score – how much students improve their expected outcomes while studying at university.

The 11 subjects at Coventry University ranked in the top 10 of the Guardian University Guide 2024 were:

  • 1st for Mental Health Nursing (1st in 2023)
  • 5th for Media & Film Studies (13th in 2023)
  • 5th for Aerospace Engineering (9th in 2023)
  • 5th for Health Professions (8th in 2023)
  • 6th for Physiotherapy (24th in 2023)

Coventry University continues to prove its worth and quality across the board and we are delighted with the recognition in the Guardian University Guide 2024.

We strive to create the best opportunities for our students both in their studies and their experience of university life on our campuses in Coventry, London and Scarborough, and while these rankings are a testament to that and the hard work and dedication of our staff, we will not stand still and continue to move forward to create the best institution we can.
