About
Han Zhang is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at Coventry Business School, where she leads postgraduate and undergraduate teaching in business analytics and decision-making. She is also a PhD researcher exploring how blockchain and data analytics can drive circular economy practices in manufacturing supply chains—particularly within the automotive and steel sectors.
With over five years of international industry experience in steel trading, Han brings practical insights into her academic practice. Her work bridges applied research, sustainable operations, and digital innovation aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
She supports students through teaching, dissertation supervision, and academic coaching across a range of analytics and operations modules. Her research has been presented at internationally recognised conferences such as IEOM, ECKM, and BAM.
