The Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations and Tamara Moore are excited to present Nanjing – Performing Forgiveness, as part of the Coventry Welcomes Festival. Developed with support from Ovalhouse and created for NOW Festival at The Yard Theatre.

Being any kind of foreign in any country is a complicated thing, even if you’re only part foreign

The play by Coventry Born writer and director Jude Christian has been reconceived for 2021 in a digital theatre form.Nanjing is an acclaimed play that explores identity, conflict and displacement as a personal response to the Nanjing Massacre of 1937.

All performances will be in person, with the 7pm performance also being available through zoom.
