Our academic expert Dr. Najib Altawell who will be delivering the session is a researcher, consultant, and tutor at CU London in renewable energy with a specialism in biomass energy (commercial and technical aspects).

His qualifications include:

  • PhD in environmental engineering from the University of Nottingham
  • MRes in Nanotechnology and Nano-electronics from the University of Surrey
  • BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Westminster 
  • PGC in higher education from the University of Plymouth
  • PGD in secondary teaching from Kingston College via the University of Greenwich.

Dr Altawell’s research relates to sustainability and issues connected to fossil fuels, climate change and global warming.
