Podcast (audio) assessment feedback
Audio feedback can be an improvement or useful alternative to written feedback in the perception of students and assessors. For example it allows communication on a more personal level with the ability to present tone and this can result in more motivating feedback. This workshop aims to:
- Provide a practical experience of creating a podcast to provide feedback to students for use in formative and summative assessments
- Provide potential guidelines for creating and listening to podcasts for students and tutors
- Present briefly, key findings from research carried out within a level three occupational therapy module that provides podcast feedback on student summative assessments.
