  • Ensure that your email address, phone number, and other contact information provided are current and accurate. This ensures that the employer can easily reach you for further communication.

  • If the role requires additional documents such as a cover letter, certifications, or samples of your work, be sure to include them as instructed. These documents can provide further evidence of your qualifications and suitability for the role.

  • Before finalising and submitting your application, carefully review your CV and supporting documents for any errors, typos, or inconsistencies. It's helpful to have a fresh pair of eyes review your application as well.

  • Take advantage of the option to set up email alerts in your profile. This way, you can stay informed about new opportunities that match your interests and be among the first to apply.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks

The University has a small number of job roles that require engagement in what is known as a Regulated Activity, relating to working with children or vulnerable individuals. If you are applying for a post with the Coventry University Group that does require a DBS check it will be detailed in the advert and job description and will also be made clear during interview.
