Ask the audience? Using Interactive Response Systems for student feedback and engagement

Course Overview

Interactive response systems can be used to ask questions and get immediate student responses.  In doing so they can help to engage students, provide immediate ‘low stakes’ feedback to help students evaluate their own progress, gather data to help the tutor identify difficult concepts and gather survey information.Interactive response systems are available as sets of ‘Clickers’ such as Turning Point or through web-based tools.
