Course Overview
This workshop will suggest teaching strategies aimed to help international students develop the academic skills required in UK HE. Special attention will be paid to:
- Academic writing and study skills
- Developing strategies to prepare international students for assessment
- Approaching critical thinking from the perspective of non-native English speakers
- Plagiarism and issues related to it
What will I get out of this course?
The participants will have an understanding of the assessment experiences of international students and how to support them with assessment.
