Get your Student Status letter
Your Student Status letter proves you're officially enrolled at Coventry University London. It includes your course name, study dates, and whether you're studying full-time or part-time. You will need to collect your Student ID card before you can get your student status letter.
What you might need it for:
- Opening a student bank account
- Applying for a job
- Proving your student status to the Council (for council tax)
- Arranging accommodation
Full-time and top-up students: create your letter online
- Log in to Nova
Use your university username and password. - Create your letter
Go to Letters > Create Letter in the left-hand menu.
Choose the letter type (e.g. Bank Letter) and fill in the details. - Download and print
Download your letter and print it in colour.
Other students: request your letter
If you're a:
- Part-time student
- Erasmus student
- Pre-sessional English student
You can’t create your letter online. Please:
- Email engagement@coventry.ac.uk from your university email, or
- Visit your nearest Student Information Desk
Need a different type of letter?
The following letters are not available on Nova:
- Invitation letters (for friends/family visiting the UK)
- Graduation or course completion letters
- Working hours letters
