Coventry University London returning students

Welcome back to Coventry University London, your results notification will have detailed your progression so you’ll now need to re-enrol with us before starting the next stage of your course. Enrolment opens on Tuesday 6 January 2025. Enrolment closes Monday 24 February 2025.

You can check your results notification in SOLAR and progress your re-enrolment from there.

Here’s a quick guide on what to do.

Re-enrol online

UK fee-paying students must re-enrol for your next course stage using SOLAR.

EU students can re-enrol for your next course stage using SOLAR however, some EU students maybe required to complete and RTS check (see step 3 below for further details). You will be contacted by email if you need to complete an RTS check.

International students who are returning from a temporary withdrawal, or who have been without attendance in semester 1 and are required to return to face-to-face study in semester 2, will need to complete a CAS request form. The deadline to submit the form is Friday 9 August 2024.

Arrange your finances

Payment deadlines

Payment to be cleared by:

  • Thursday 13 February 2025 (not requiring CAS)
  • Monday 27 January 2025 (CAS super priority)
  • Monday 13 January 2025 (CAS priority)
  • Monday 30 December 2025 (CAS non-priority)

 

Home students applying for a student loan must do so every year. You can find all the details on the UK Government website.

For international fee payers, you are required to have paid a minimum of £8,000 or the full course fee if less than £8,000 or from regions outlined in section 6a of our tuition fee and refund terms and conditions, to complete Enrolment each year.

The payment requirements for the Confirmation of the Acceptance of Studies (CAS) letter are as follows:

  • European Union, Sub Saharan and Northern Africa- £4000.00
  • Pakistan, Bangladesh, India (Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana) - Full tuition fees charged for the first year of your course
  • All other countries- £8000.00.

International part-time students must pay your course fees in full.

If your fees are being paid by a sponsor (eg an employer or government body) you will need to send your sponsor letter for approval to debtenq.fin@coventry.ac.uk. We require a new sponsor letter each academic year. Please note, family and friends are not classed as sponsors.

If you haven’t paid your tuition fees in full, please ensure you make payments by the tuition instalment deadlines.

The quickest and most secure way to pay is by using Convera payment platform.

Complete your Right to Study (RTS) check

You will be required to meet with the Compliance team to complete a face-to-face Right to Study check, once you have completed this process, your enrolment can continue.

When you arrive in the UK please complete this form to request a right to study check. The Compliance team will reply to you with an appointment for this essential check. Your check will take place at the Coventry University London campus from Monday 6 January 2025 to Monday 24 February 2025.

Get your student status letter

There may be times when you need to prove your status as a student, e.g. opening a bank account - you can generate a student status letter by logging into the Student Portal or via the Wayfinder app.
