DPR Process

The aim of the DPR is to align individual performance and development with that of the University, its strategy and direction of travel. To support this, all staff will have meetings with their manager. At least once a year, to review past performance and set out future plans.

The DPR process is built upon personal objectives and performance plans and kinks individual performance (what to do) and capability (how you do it) with reward and recognition. Following your one to one DPR discussion, your manager will make a rating recommendation that fairly reflects your contribution. The ratings will not form part of the discussion as the ratings will be subject to the Moderation process.

DPR forms can be found on the staff portal.

Learning and development run a course to assist you with the DPR process that will give you all the information you need to know, this course is aimed at all levels of staff; for both Professional Services and Academic Staff.

Please contact the Learning and Development team to book yourself on the course: ext. 658115 or development.hr@coventry.ac.uk.

Alternatively you can use the booking system.
