Your next steps

Your Students’ Union (SU) is a charity, working independently from the university to support and represent students. As a Coventry University Group student, you’re automatically a member. You can get involved by joining a club or society, becoming a Course or College Rep, or putting yourself forward as an Elected Officer.

What does the Students’ Union do?

The SU is here to support you and help you enjoy student life. Here's what it offers:

Student voice: Representing the student body through our elected Officers, Student Reps and Online Feedback Platform to ensure your voice is heard
Clubs and Societies: Join a society to make friends and do something you enjoy, or try something new. If you don't see something you are looking for you can even start your own. You’ll find a variety of sports clubs for all skill levels. Check out social sport as a way to meet new people and play in a casual way.
Your Advice Service: Providing a free, independent and confidential service available to all Coventry University Group students supporting with academic, financial and housing related issues.
Skills and work experience: Get help with volunteering, placements, digital badges and awards to help build your CV
Communities: Make positive change through celebration, activism and support. This is a space to voice concerns, share ideas, and suggest policy to make Coventry University a better place for all.
Events and workshops: Your Students’ Union run a diverse range of events and activities that you can take part in for free.
