- Physical or sensory impairments
- Autism spectrum conditions
- Mental health conditions
- Long-term medical conditions
- Specific learning differences, like dyslexia and dyspraxia
You can tell us about your needs during enrolment or at any point during your studies. Our disability and inclusion team will work with you to create a tailored support plan. This may include:
- Exam adjustments
- Assistive technology
- Specialist mentoring or study skills support
- Accessible accommodation
Top tip: It’s best to get in touch as early as possible so we can make sure support is in place when you start your course. Learn more about the support we offer.
Plan ahead for a safe start
If you may need help evacuating during an emergency due to mobility, hearing or other accessibility needs it’s essential to arrange support before you arrive. Setting up a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) in advance ensures everything is in place from day one.
For campus buildings, contact the Welfare and Disabilities team; for university accommodation, the Futurelets team will help you prepare. Taking these steps early means you can settle in with confidence, knowing your safety needs are already covered.
Campus accessibility
You can find out more about access on our campuses on AccessAble.
