Spirituality and faith support

Spirituality and faith support is available to all students, we offer a warm and welcoming service for all faiths and none.

You can find:

  • Quiet, calm spaces for prayer or time to yourself
  • Friendly chaplains who listen and help you in private
  • Support to find places of worship near you
  • Chances to learn about different faiths with videos, talks and events
  • Social activities that celebrate different cultures and beliefs

If you want:

  • Connect with local faith groups or places of worship
  • Join events based on faith or culture

Facilities

Coventry University London is a friendly, inclusive space for all beliefs and cultures. We help you to feel at home in the city.

  • The multi-faith quiet room is in Middlesex Building, Room 4.03. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Everyone can use this room for prayer, meditation, or quiet time, no matter what you believe.
  • The Student Support Team works closely with local interfaith groups, they can connect you with places of worship and events in London.
  • The Students’ Union (CUSU) organises regular faith and cultural events like meals, discussions, and guest speakers, celebrating diversity.
  • You can talk to the chaplaincy team by phone, email, or face-to-face for confidential support and spiritual guidance.

Faith and cultural societies

Faith and cultural societies are a place of community where you can connect with other students to celebrate your beliefs, share traditions, and enjoy social events.

To find out about faith or cultural societies near you, contact your Students’ Union. They can connect you with groups that share your faith or culture, or help you to start a new society.

You can view our webinars and watch videos to help you learn more about different faiths and spirituality. These are a great way to understand beliefs, reflect personally, or learn something new.
